Interesting things in Berlin

Have you gone to Berlin? If you go there I recommend you should do a scavenger hunt. Don't know what to look for?  I think my scavenger hunt things that I found (that my dad made for me before we went) might tell you just what to look for. I found:

  • a piece of the Berlin wall
  • the elevator (with fish and water around it)
  • Brandenburg Gate
  • a horse
  • 5 things people used to get to the other side of the Berin
  • a lion statue
  • a fish fountain
  • something to do with Einstein
  • the first traffic light in Europe
  • 5 cool statues
  • a different trafic light signal for pedestrians (it's called an Ampelmann)
  • a spiral ramp in a glass dome
  • graffiti on the Berlin wall
  • rows of grey, rectangle stones
  • a beckoning cat (not a picture)
  • 5 bear statues (I found about 50 (they are easy to find))

Some things you might want to learn about are:

  • the cold war
  • world war II
  • why the wall went up
  • how the wall came down
  • where the wall was and which side was which
And here are some things that you might want to see:
  • Checkpoint Charlie
  • East side gallery
  • performers in front of Brandenburg Gate
